Adventures with My Cricut - Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge, Page 14

Beautiful Butterflies

Page 14 of the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge is all about butterflies, and lovely sentiments.

I immediately thought of one of my favorite stamp sets, Your Own Kind of Wonderful.

You can see  the cards for yourself in this short video.

Here are links to the items I used to make these fun cards.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT IX

Thank You and Flower Pots

Whew! I made it to page 10 in the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. This page has "Thank you" cards with pretty flowers in pots.

This might be the easiest page I have done so far. I used the Blossom paper packet again. I love this paper packet! I'm now down to scraps, and contemplating ordering more before it is no longer available.

Soon I will be able to see all of the new products coming out in September, and I can't wait. I am sure there will be lots of new goodies, maybe even a paper packet I love as much as this one.

As always, I have filmed a video to show you the cards I made, and links to the products I used.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT VIII

Bicycles, Flowers, and Many Thanks

This was an easy page of cards to assemble, and I decided to use the bright, and floral, Blossom paper packet.

Everything I used was from the paper packet and the matching embellishments. Links to all of the items I used can be found below the video.

All cards were cut out at the recommended sizes, and put together per the cartridge directions.

These cards can be customized in lots of ways. I hope you will experiment and make these cards your own.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT VI

Paris, Shopping, and Friendship

Page 6 of the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge is all about shopping and good friends. These were fun cards to put together, and they went perfectly with the Wanderful paper collection from Close to My Heart.

I usually do not care for a Paris themed card or scrapbook page, unless someone has actually been to Paris. However, I do think that these cards would be wonderful for a birthday that includes a gift card, or shopping trip.

I made a short video to show all of the cards from page 6 of the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge, and have put links to the products used below.

You will not be disappointed in these cards, as they are easy to make and will impressive the recepient.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT V

Artfully Sent Cartridge - Page 5

I actually started playing with the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge back in September 2014. I made the cards on page 4, and then hopped around a bit.

When I started playing with the cartridge again this year, I decided to start with page one and create a series of posts, and YouTube videos. I really wanted to get the hang of this unique cartridge, and thought this would be the best way.

This week I made all of the cards on page 5, and they are all about foxes and friendship. I chose the Jackson Paper Packet, which I thought fit the theme.

If you missed page 4 back in September, it can be found HERE.

As always I made a video showing how I used the card shapes. There are many ways to change things up simply by changing the colors, embelishments, adding stamped images, and more. I hope you will take my suggestions as a starting point and create some unique cards of your own.

Following the video I have a list of the supplies I used, and the dimensions for the pop-up card.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT III

Artfully Sent Cartridge Page #2

This week is brought to you by the number 2. As I work my way through the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge, I'm filming a video, and sharing the products I use.

This is really helping me get familiar with the cartridge, and all of it's features. I highly recommend doing this with cartridges you thought you would love, but almost never use, or cartridges with tricky features.

I hope you enjoy the video, and it gives you some ideas for this fantastic card making cartridge.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT II

Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge

Page #1

I have decided the best way to learn all of the ins and outs of the newest, Close to My Heart Exclusive, Cricut Cartridge is to start at the beginning, and work through each page.

This week I made the cards from page one. I chose a paper collection, so that all of my cards would coordinate. First, I pulled out the Confetti Wishes Paper Packet .

Next, I looked over the cards, and picked two solid colors for my first card. The cards came together fairly easily, though I did find the pop-up card on this page a little tricky. Hopefully, my tips will make these cards even easier for you.

If you would like to purchase the Artfully Sent Cartridge you can follow this link to my shopping site for all of the details.

I always find videos helpful, and I hope you will also.
Do you have a favorite Cricut Cartridge? I think this one will become a go to for cards that impress.

HALLOWEEN CARD SERIES #3 ~ FEATURING ARTFULLY SENT

MY HALLOWEEN CARDS ARE FINISHED!

Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge
I made three cards from the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge as my final cards in the Halloween Cards Series. It feels good to check them off my list, because I really should start on Christmas cards.

Are you one of those people who works on their cards all year long, so that you do not have any holiday stress? I don't personally know anyone who can answer "yes" to that question. I certainly can't, and I send out a lot more Christmas cards than I do Halloween cards. Do I sound a little nervous about finishing on time? Well, that's because I am.

There are many cute Holiday cards on the new Artfully Sent Cartridge, so I am hoping each card won't take me hours to finish. I will, of course, share the cards as I finish them.

If you would like more details on the Artfully Sent Cartridge, follow this link. After the video I will list the supplies I used for each card, and the links in case you would like to order any of the products for yourself.

Card #1 ~ Haunted House

This is a scene card that can be found on page 44 of the Artfully Sent instruction booklet. It is the envelope 8 button if you are using Cricut Craft Room, or looking at the overlay. This card was the easiest to put together because it really didn't need much in the way of embellishment. Of course I used my usual amount of glitter, I can't seem to help myself.

Black and Canary exclusive dye inks can be found here
Creepy Creatures stamp set can be ordered  here.
Canary Cardstock is from the Whimsy Collection, and you can find it here.

Whimsy Cardstock Collection

Tim Holtz distress ink in Black Soot can be found at any craft store, or on Amazon.
Wink of Stella glitter pen, and Sakura gelly roll pen can both be found on Amazon.

Card #2 Spider Web Sleeve Card

This sleeve card can be found on page 43, and envelope 7, in the instruction book. It cuts out as one piece and I cut the inside Canary piece to fit with my trimmer.

Black, Canary, and Thistle cardstock - both Thistle and Canary are part of the Whimsy Collection.
The Scaredy Cat Paper Pack can be viewed here.

Scaredy Cat Paper Collection

Card #3 - Trick or Treat

I used all of the same supplies for this card, and it is also on page 43 of the instruction booklet. I cut out both Sentiment cards, and used the second card inside the first. I cut the first card at the recommended 7 inch, but cut the second card at 3.5 inches, so that it would fit properly inside. Hopefully that was clear when you watch the video. I used a cut from the basic shapes on the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. If you want details on the Art Philosophy collection, follow this link.
You can use any of the basic shapes, I cut my chosen shape at 4.5 inches.

As always, thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below. I would love to know if you are making your own holiday cards this year.

FUN WITH THE ARTFULLY SENT CRICUT CARTRIDGE ~ POP UP CARD

POP UP CARD THE EASY WAY!

Home Sweet Home

I spent the morning playing with the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. No big surprise, right? Pop up cards are so easy with this cartridge. I decided the Whimsy color collection and Family is Forever stamp set would look great with the Home Sweet Home  card.

Here is the list of items I used:

Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge
Pixie and Black Dye Ink Pads
Rub and Remove Eraser
Pixie, Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, and Canary Cardstock
Family is Forever Stamp Set

I made a video to show how easy this card is to put together. I hope you enjoy it. I am still very new at making videos, but each one gets easier.

ADVENTURES WITH MY CRICUT I

Artfully Sent Cartridge - Page 4

Artfully Sent and Brushed Collection
I have been wanting to make something with the Brushed Paper Collection, and I finally got the chance today. I fired up my Cricut, opened up Cricut Craft Room, and picked a theme from the new Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. All of the cards I made can be found on page 4 of the Artfully Sent booklet. I made four different types of cards: a scene, pop-up, sleeve, and pocket card. I didn't make the sentiment card but maybe I will get around to it this weekend.

Below is a video that will give you a better idea of how easy these cards are to put together. This new cartridge really does make it easy to create cards that look like they were difficult and time consuming.

ARTFULLY SENT IS HERE!

A CARD MAKER'S DREAM!

The FedEx man left a nice little package on my front porch this morning. Once I opened the new Artfully Sent  Cricut Cartridge I had to sit down and attempt my first card. I thought I would stick with the Halloween theme, and try one of the pop-up cards. There was a little bit of a learning curve, but I can already tell I will be in card making mode for quite some time.

Inside of Halloween Pop-up card.
I used papers from the Close to My Heart Scaredy Cat Paper Pack, and Creepy Creatures stamp set. For the outside the only part that I used from the new cartridge is the very cool spider.

I really love this stamp set.
After looking over some of the intricate cuts on this cartridge, I really must get the new Cricut Explore.

Stay tuned for more cards this week. I have not even opened my CTMH Brushed paper pack, but I think I will tomorrow, so I can create a really girly pop-up card.

If you NEED this new cartridge you can only order it from a Close to My Heart consultant. If you order from me you qualify for my Crafts for a Cure Club, and receive a dye ink pad of your choice.

Here is the link to my previous post regarding all of the perks you get along with this awesome cartridge.
